Ray and Mary are great hosts, you are treated as a friend the moment you walk in, this was our second visit. Every where is spotless, rooms not huge but have everything you need and the bed was one of the best ever . Breakfast is cooked to order with quality products. Parking usually available outside and location is great just opposite the pier, around a 10 minute walk to town centre but far enough away to be quiet.
On last night of our 4 night stay,we would definitely come back!
Our room has everything we need ,like the rest of the hotel it's tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with a very comfy bed.
2 minutes away from the beach and about 10 to 15 mins walk from the town centre.Our hosts Mary and Ray are very friendly and helpful and create a fun atmosphere at breakfast time .Great hosts,great hotel.
Amazing service, Mary and Ray were lovely hosts, very welcoming and kind, nice to chat to! The breakfast was delicious, looked forward to sitting down in the dining area every morning to enjoy it and being greeted by them , having a nice catch up too and felt like home!! Room was super clean and comfy! They’re kind and genuine people, helped us to find the banksy art too! will definitely be visiting again when back in Great Yarmouth!
First of all, how lovely and friendly Mary and Ray were right from start. How clean and beautifully decorated the room and the whole place was... We enjoyed having our breakfast morning very much, especially our poached eggs and the personal service/cooking provided by Mary and Ray. What a couple, What a Team, What amazing Hosts.
We loved our stay at Taunton House! The hosts, Ray and Mary, were really welcoming and ensured our stay was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and a highlight of the stay. The B&B is in an ideal location - super close to the beach at Great Yarmouth and lots of restaurants/bars/the pier, but also close to great walking routes. We will definitely be back!
